Welcome to Cycling Scotland

Accredited Centres

Cycling Scotland are currently working with cycling projects to develop a programme of accredited cycling centres that can deliver cycle instruction locally.

Often these projects are local cycling projects that offer other services such as maintenance and repair or guided rides.

The Bike Station in Edinburgh has become the first accredited centre in Scotland.

The new scheme has been set up to help people gain confidence when cycling on Edinburgh's congested streets, and is aimed at encouraging people out of cars and on to two wheels.

The Bike Station, based 250 Causewayside, Edinburgh, EH9 1UU, has now hired professional instructors to run one-on-one courses for novice cyclists, and will be working with the city's major employers to offer lessons to regular commuters.

Try Cycling Tayside are working through the process and are recommended by Cycling Scotland.

Road Safety Units in Scotland also deliver a programme of cycle training to primary children, further details from the Road Safety Scotland.
