Accredited Tutors

Cycling Scotland use experienced Tutors to deliver all of our courses, many of the Tutors deliver a range of cycling courses and some of them are experienced in delivery of the Scottish Governing Body instructor training courses.

Jim Riach, Drew Michie, Brian Salvona, Ruaridh MacGlone, Gordon Walker, Julian Fincham and all of the Tutors have completed sportscoach UK's coach educator training programme and are experienced in delivering instructor training.

Newest addition to our tutor team is Jules Fincham, director and coach of Cycle Wild Scotland, he is one of the UK’s top outdoor adventure coaches. A senior tutor with the Scottish Mountain Bike Leader Association.

During his 12 years as an instructor for Glenmore Lodge, Sportscotland’s national centre, Jules has been responsible for creating and developing their MTB syllabus.

Jules joined the Cycling Scotland team in February 2006 when he delivered his first four day cycle trainer course in Dingwall.
