Bike Week Pictures 5 - Gartnavel Hospital Cycle Friendly Employer Award 22/06/06

Cycling Scotland provided the icing on the cake for Gartnavel General Hospital's annual Bike Week celebrations, as the hospital became the latest workplace to receive the Cycle Friendly Employer Award.

The award is administered by Cycling Scotland in association with SHAW (Scotland's Health at Work) and is given to employers who provide facilities for employees to cycle to work, such as showers, bike parking and lockers, and promote healthy active travel.

Strathclyde Police were also in attendance, promoting bike safety and security.
