Cycling: A simple solution to a complex problem

Cycling is something we learn how to do as a young child, but all too often forget about in adulthood. This conference will show how re-acquainting ourselves with the humble bicycle can help solve some of the country’s gravest problems. From traffic congestion to carbon emissions, from obesity to economic growth, cycling can make huge contributions, and can do so for very little money. Our European neighbours have long enjoyed the benefits of being cycling nations. In this one day conference, we will examine how to bring those benefits to the UK to create an active, healthier, more sustainable and more prosperous country.
