Pedal for Scotland STV Coverage

Pedal for Scotland broke records this year, with participant numbers growing by over 60% to 2700, making Scotland's biggest bike ride bigger than ever. As a result, the First Minister Jack McConnell MSP dropped in to start the ride, and show his support for cycling. Cycle Friendly Employer

Cycling Scotland runs the Cycle Friendly Employer Scheme, which gives official certification to workplaces who provide good facilities for staff commuting by bike. Transport for London

Transport for London have engineered one of the biggest cycling success stories in recent years, having boosted cycle use by 83% in the past 7 years. A key part of TfL's commitment to cycling was launching an major marketing campaign, which depicts cycling as being relevant and accessible to everyone.
