For 2012 the British Heart Foundation event ‘Heartride’ are offering the stunning 60 and 30 mile on road routes and also a new 90 mile sportive not for the fainthearted! In addition the 2 off road options at the famous 7 Stanes site at Kirroughtree offer some of Scotland best off road cycling.
British Heart Foundation Scotland are delighted to be running the Heartride cycling event again in 2012.

Hosted in Galloway forest, the Machars and beyond, Heartride is a spectacular Sportive and off road event not to be missed. Set in spectacular countryside in a Dark Sky title holding region famed for its forest paths and coastal views as well as an abundance of wildlife. Dumfries and Galloway is well known for being a popular place of residence for writers and artists due to it’s inspirational beauty. A great opportunity for making a weekend of the event and taking in some of the many attractions nearby as well as undertaking a great cycling event for the nations heart charity.
