Cycling Scotland requires exceptional individuals to join our team of freelance Quality Assurance Associates.

The Quality Assurance Associate (The QAA) will be part of a freelance team recruited to implement Cycling Scotland’s Quality Assurance strategy. The QAA will be involved in the process of quality assuring a target number of all Cycling Scotland training courses in 2015/16. The post will involve remote working and travel within Scotland. QAA’s will work in teams of two during Quality Assurance visits with one acting as the lead Associate and they will report to the Quality Assurance Officer.

Conditions of appointment
Interviews will be held on Thursday 4th July and mandatory training will take place on the 23rd and 24th July in Glasgow. Applicants must be able to attend both the interview and training dates. The role is Scotland based and requires travel throughout Scotland. Team meetings and CPD will take place roughly every 6 months. All training, meetings and CPD is paid. It is anticipated that successful applicants will be offered roughly 10-15 days’ work per year.

Pay rate
The pay rate for QAA’s is £125 per day (or £75 per half day) plus reasonable travel and subsistence expenses reimbursed at our current rates.
