2837 MCM Website Banner FINALCycling Scotland presents a suite of free courses designed to help make cycling mainstream through a structured programme of CPD accredited learning.

Revised and refreshed, our courses have been developed with today’s cycling climate in mind.

Take just one stand alone course, or combine courses to progress through Foundation, Specialism and Practitioner levels.


Courses run throughout the year and cover three broad learning streams:

–              Behaviour Change

–              Planning and Design for Cycling

–              Policy, Monitoring and Development

What can I study?

Courses are delivered at three levels:

Foundation (limited prior knowledge)

Specialism 1 & 2 (some prior knowledge)

Practitioner (extensive knowledge)

Courses at each level are available in each learning stream and learners can move between streams as they progress from Foundation through Specialisms 1 & 2 and on to Practitioner.


How much do the courses cost?

Courses are free and you can complete one stand alone module or combine courses to move through all three levels.
